Knowing where our food comes from is on the forefront of people’s minds. Our products are all grown locally so the only border we cross is the state line. The organic food movement has been a great vehicle for people to be aware of not only where their food comes from, but also what went into making it. Our greenhouse products are not only locally grown, but the procedures used to power and operate the facility are done in a way that has a minimum impact on the environment. We use biogas (methane) as heat, we produce a portion of our electricity, we use very little water, and we do not use any harmful chemicals in the process. You can be rest assured that our product will not only meet your taste standards, but will also give you the peace of mind that you are doing your part to preserve the environment.

Our Tilapia (fish) are nothing but fresh, natural, and environmentally friendly !! They are grown in a carbon neutral environment and have no hormone or chemical exposure. Just like everything on the farm, they work hard to produce for us. We feed them well, so the can produce nutrient rich effluent that is used to grow our vegetables. Once they reach maturity, they are given an environment that allows for the best taste possible. Our fish taste great and are grown using only the energy from the farm to grow them. If you are concerned about your health, the environments, and supporting your local economy try our fish, you will love them.

Fresh, natural, and environmentally friendly are just a few words that define our produce products. Our fancy leaf lettuce and herbs are grown in an environment that is powered by the biogas produced on our farm. This not only substantially reduces our carbon footprint, but also gives you a product that you know has positive impact on your environment. To insure the products are healthy, we do not use any harmful pesticides or commercial fertilizers. In order to achieve and monitor this system, we have employed the help of Tilapia fish. These fish provide nutrient rich water that fertilizes our plants and the Tilapia also act as our “canary in the coal mine”. What this means is that if we did use any harmful chemicals on the plants it would kill the fish. So what this means to you is you get a product that is green in color and environmentally responsible. Try some of our product and you will find that not only are they “green”, the taste is extraordinary!
